File Validation

You can use the Business Object Builder to validate Business Object Package files using an option on the Package page. This option is recommended.

Business Object Package Validation

To Validate a Package

1. On the Package page, Open the Package to be validated.
2. Click Validate to display the Validate Current Package dialog box.
3. Click the Run Validation button to validate the Package.
4. When the validation process is complete, results displaying any errors or anomalies found will appear in the text field.
5. If there are errors, note and correct any errors found. To facilitate this, you can Copy Results to Clipboard or Open Results in New Window.
6. Repeat the validation process until there are no errors.
7. When the validation is successful, the message "No validation errors detected." will be displayed to confirm that the errors have been corrected.
